KARMANN GHIAS AND JUDSONS
This is an original Judson brochure from an NOS 40 hp kit
that I found. There is also a 36 hp version. I have a copy
some where.
Judson Ghia Scoop installation photos in my This is the liturature that came with the scoop. There was a template to cut the decklid, a picture of a trophey winning
59 Ghia owner and his article, the Judson Ghia brochure, and
the box. There have been several scoops reproduced but the
originals say "Judson Ghia Scoop" in the casting (faintly seen
in the photo)
Another view of the scoop and goodies. Here I just put the NOS scoop on the deck lid for effect. This picture appeared in Hot VWs rarest of the rare.
From the Judson Karmann Ghia Brochure here is a picture of what the installed hood scoop looks like. A large hole had
to be cut into the deck lid for the air cleaner to have clearance.
A Pennslvania license plate is shown on the Ghia.
Various Judson Supercharger badges. I have never seen any official listing of these fender badges so I'm not sure if they
were made by someone other than Judson. Photo is from
Pasi Hakala in Finland.
The original Judson decal supplied with each kit. These were originally water transfer but they are reproduced now as a
clear sticker to place in you quarter or rear window.
